This is a card that doubles as a bookmark.  The Sweet Pea stitched felt makes it extra special!

This card was inspired by my friend, Lorinne and Patty Bennett.  I discovered on Patty’s blog that you can make your own background with the clear mount stamp.  Love it!!! 

I got this card idea from Georgia Giguere’s Founder’s Circle Swap and the flower is from Debbie Naylor’s blog.  I love making these flowers!  I punched out 7 flowers from Cottage Wall DSP using the new and wonderful Extra Large Fancy Flower punch.  I crumpled them up and opened them back up.  I stacked them and layed them down on the mat and made a hole in the center with my piercer.  I inserted a Chocolate Chip corduroy brad and scrunched all the petals up and used my bone folder to curl down the petals one by one.

Here’s a tutorial of how to make the staircase card.  It was requested to me by several people.  I hope it makes sense!

Card using:  Free Sale-a-bration Whimsical Words stamp set, Butterfly Accent stamp, Dot, Dot, Dot stamp, Rich Razzleberry & Melon Mambo Classic stamp pads and card stock, Free Sale-a-bration Scallop Trim Border punch, Scallop Trim Corner punch, 2-way glue stick, Dazzling Diamonds.

This last card was mostly CASED from Shelli’s card at Leadership.  I didn’t have the stencil she used so I ran the Decorative Accents die through the Big Shot with card stock and used it as a stencil.  I also finished up my project with shimmer paint.  Supply list:  Vintage Vogue stamp set, Real Red, Soft Suede, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip Classic stamp pads, Kraft, Old Olive and Close to Cocoa card stock, distress tool, sponge, Paper Snips, Dotto glue, Color Spritzer Tool, White Shimmer Paint, Pretties Kit, Mini glue dot.
